Anoushka Shankar

Anoushka Shakar was an American and British sitarist. She is the youngest woman and also the first woman to be awarded an official British House of Commons shield. Anoushka Shankar is an emerging young star of the Indian sitar. She is the daughter and student of Ravi Shankar. She was a child who bounded between London in the UK to New Delhi. At the age of 13 she staged her first show on stage in New Delhi. After that, she moved into Encinitas CA where she graduated from High School with honours in 1999.
